I worked at Christy from August 2017 to March 2019, where I was responsible for the design and delivery of digital and print assets across marketing and retail.

In Winter 2017, I collaborated with the wider marketing team on the Spring/Summer 2018 campaign, assisting a photoshoot at a sleek, minimalist house in the Cotswolds that perfectly reflected the desired aesthetic. The campaign theme, Living Redefined, celebrated Christy’s heritage while showcasing its evolution into a modern lifestyle brand.

I led the design and production of the Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook (shown above), making effective use of white space to achieve a clean, minimal aesthetic.

I also developed a range of supporting assets, including a homepage design, website banners, newsletters, print adverts, direct mail, and social media assets.

For Autumn/Winter 2018, the Living Redefined theme was adapted to a richer, darker and cosier aesthetic, which I reflected in the lookbook. This featured the limited-edition Prism towel in Ultra Violet – the 2018 Pantone Color of the Year – showcasing a trend-led twist on a brand classic.

To promote the launch of the towel, I designed a print advertisement for Stylist magazine alongside a series of newsletters and social media assets.

For the launch of its children’s collection, Christy Junior, I refined an existing logo to make it both playful and sophisticated. I paired a handwritten font with the Christy logo and replaced the dot of the ‘i’ with a star. Yellow was chosen for its presence in the collection, its gender-neutral appeal, and its contrast with the logo and the predominantly blue tones of the range. During my time at Christy, I frequently designed assets for Christy Junior, including price lists, direct mail, webpages, newsletters, and social media assets.

I produced a range of assets for Christy’s licensed brands, including Ascot, Royal Ascot, and Wimbledon. Highlights included designing an advert featuring Olympic cyclist and jockey Victoria Pendleton for Royal Ascot and collaborating for a memorable brand activation at Ascot Racecourse in November 2017: a life-sized snow globe with a living room setup, where visitors could have their photo taken in exchange for providing their email address.

I designed assets to support brand awareness, product launches, seasonal features, competitions, lifestyle content, and large-scale campaigns across Christy’s key trading periods – including Christmas, Black Friday, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and numerous sales.

This required balancing commercial objectives with brand storytelling, ensuring that every asset was visually engaging, on-brand, and optimised for digital performance across multiple channels.

I also delivered a high volume of print design, including point-of-sale, posters, packaging, swing tags, booklets, and more, creating a cohesive and consistent brand experience across digital and physical touchpoints.

My role at Christy strengthened my design skills and deepened my ability to adapt visual storytelling to different audiences, channels, and objectives, always with a focus on quality, impact, and brand integrity.
